Waco, TX OL Prospect Pledges to Toledo

One day after getting back home from an official visit to the University of Toledo, Waco, Texas offensive line prospect Christian Beard decided to end the drama and commit to Toledo.
Beard, 6-4 and 270 pounds, chose Toledo over offers from Central Arkansas, UL Monroe, Montana State, Nevada, New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston State and SMU. He was recruited to Toledo by assistant coach Tom Manning.

Beard took his official visit to Toledo this past weekend. After his visit, Christian took to twitter to recap his weekend on campus. "Had an amazing time visiting Toledo this weekend," Beard tweeted, along with a picture of himself at the football facilities.
Beard has been an important offensive line target in Toledo's 2014 recruiting class. He is the 19th commitment in the class, and 2nd commitment from the state of Texas. The other commit from Texas is LB Olasunkanmi Adeniyi from Richmond, TX.
Another Texas prospect that Toledo has been recruiting heavily is offensive line prospect Bill Weber. Weber, who also took his official visit to Toledo this past weekend, has offers from Harvard, New Mexico State, Toledo and Tulsa.
