Toledo Visits 2015 QB Prospect

Toledo visited Birmingham Brother Rice (Mich.) 2015 quarterback, Alex Malzone on Tuesday. The Rockets offered Malzone back on September 1st, the same day that Western Michigan offered the junior quarterback. Malzone currently holds offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Old Dominion, Toledo, and Western Michigan but is expecting several higher-level BCS offers by next February.

Malzone, a highly rated three star prospect, is currently rated as the seventeenth overall quarterback in the 2015 recruiting class and has been shown interest by programs like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State. Toledo and Michigan State visited Malzone on Tuesday January 28th.

Toledo will be looking to fill 1-2 quarterback spots in the 2015 recruiting class. We will keep you posted as Malzone's recruitment heats up over the next several months.
