Toledo Drops Scholarship Offer to Ikeem Allen

Mallard Creek, North Carolina defensive tackle, Ikeem Allen has had his commitment dropped from Toledo. Allen committed to Toledo on January 18th after being committed to Ball State since the summer.

Toledo has dropped Allen's commitment due to him not fully honoring his commitment to the Rockets and taking other visits. Allen's other offers are from Ball State (where he previously decommitted from), The Citadel, Georgia State, Northern Iowa, South Carolina State and Western Carolina.

Following the Rockets dropping Allen, it leaves Toledo with twenty commitments in their 2014 recruiting class. National Signing Day is just one week away. The first day that high school prospects can sign national letters of intent is Wednesday, February 5th.
