Swanson, Reynolds Commit During Visits

Toledo's 2014 football recruiting class got a big shot in the arm today when DE Brandon Reynolds and RB Terry Swanson committed to head coach Matt Campbell and the Rockets during their official visits.
Reynolds is a 6-4 and 215 pound defensive end prospect from Solon, Ohio. He was recruited to Toledo by assistant coaches Tom Manning, Stan Watson and Eli Rasheed.

Swanson is a 5-10 and 191 pound running back prospect from Aliquippa, PA. Swanson has received offers from Akron, James Madison, Kent State, Ohio University, Robert Morris, Stony Brook and Temple. Swanson had reportedly narrowed his choices to Akron, Temple and Toledo before his visit and subsequent commitment to Toledo.
Swanson was recruited to Toledo by assistant coaches Jason Candle, Louis Ayeni and D.K. McDonald.
Swanson is one half of a running back duo at Aliquippa that has turned heads. Dravon Henry is the other back, and he has received much of the attention from the media and college recruiters. Henry is a 4 star recruit that is being courted by several big-time BCS schools. The emergency of Henry didn't stop schools like Toledo, Kent State, Ohio University and Temple from seeing the talent in Swanson and Toledo is getting a steal in Terry Swanson.
Swanson and Reynolds were two of twelve prospects that were in Toledo for official visits this weekend. Two other prospects were scheduled to visit Toledo in Bill Weber and Christian Beard, but the adverse weather conditions in Dallas, TX prohibited the pair from making their flights. They are planning on rescheduling their visits.
