After taking an official visit to Toledo this past weekend, Murdock told Rivals.com's EdgyTim that he was leaning towards Toledo but had an in-home visit with Northern Illinois setup for this Thursday and would be getting in-home visits from Toledo and Bowling Green in the near future.
This past season Murdock rushed for over 1,500 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior at Barrington High School. Defensively Murdock played linebacker in the fall, the same position that Toledo and most colleges are recruiting him for.
Murdock, one of thirteen official visitors at the University of Toledo this past weekend, becomes the 17th verbal commitment to the University of Toledo's 2012 football recruiting class.
