"Overall, I felt this was the best fit for me as a student-athlete," said Guadagni. "I got really close with their coaches and I love the energy and the passion for Toledo football from their coaches, it's one of the things that led to my commitment."
Guadagni has been on Toledo's campus four times and says he's very excited for the opportunity. "I can't imagine myself anywhere else and now I have a lot of stress off of my shoulders and can get back to focusing on high school football and making it the best senior year possible."
The Toledo coaches were a bit pumped up on social media following word of Guadagni's commitment. Though they can't use names on social media, the several vague tweets about the future of the program may have hinted at this big-time commitment. Guadagni was one of three quarterbacks who continually saw interest from the Rockets but was the one guy that Matt Campbell and his staff truly wanted if they had a choice. Well, they got him.
Guadagni's parents has his back throughout the recruiting process as well. "My parents supported me 100%. They love Toledo, the coaches, and what they can offer me so they were very proud and very excited," Guadagni said.
"I'm very excited, I just can't wait to show up with the Class of 2015 and compete."
