Haynes Commits to Toledo

Pittsburgh Central Catholic defensive back Juwan Haynes has committed to the University of Toledo. Haynes, 6-1 and 175 pounds, was recruited to Toledo by assistant coach Steven Clinkscale.

Haynes has been leaning towards committing to Toledo for some time. Over the weekend he announced that he would be making his decision this week, then earlier this evening he called up the Toledo coaches and gave them his verbal commitment to play football at the University of Toledo next year. Haynes told me earlier this evening he chose Toledo over offers from Kent State, VMI, Old Dominion, and William & Mary.

Juwan has excellent speed and also runs track at Pittsburgh Central Catholic. He is the 12th member of Toledo's 2012 football recruiting class.
