Blackmon Commits to Toledo

TheRocketNation has learned that Coffeyville (Kansas) CC defensive tackle Dexter Blackmon has committed to the University of Toledo.
Blackmon, 6-3 and 290 pounds, was a three star prospect coming out of high school in Selma, Alabama when he committed to LSU for their 2010 recruiting class.

Blackmon was not able to get qualified and had to go to Coffeyville CC in Kansas instead.
Dexter took advantage of that second opportunity at Coffeville. He will be a February signee and get to fulfill his dream of playing football at a Division I school.
Blackmon took his official visit to Toledo this weekend and committed to the Rockets this afternoon. He was recruited to Toledo by assistant coaches Alex Golesh and Eli Rasheed.
